Who We Are

Pacific Training and Resources was incorporated in California in 2001. In the ten years that we’ve been in business, we have helped non-profit managers, staff, board members and other volunteers strengthen their programs and operations. Additionally, we have worked with other consultants and non-profit networks like Craigslist Foundation, Compass Point, Community Anti-Drug Coalitions of America and the Louisiana Association of Non-profits (among others) to make community based organizations healthier. A women owned and operated business, we have worked extensively with LGBTQ, Arts and Theatre, and Family Service organizations.

Jennie Brick

Jennie Brick is the senior Finance and Administration consultant for Pacific Training and Resources. Having worked in the non-profit sector for over twenty-five years, Jennie is experienced in creating systems to streamline and accommodate the challenging world of the non-profit administrator.

She has trained management, staff, board members, and volunteers in the areas of budgeting, general fiscal operations, public speaking, and office administration.

Mary Griggs

Mary Griggs is the senior Human Resources and Organizational Development consultant for Pacific Training and Resources. She uses her 20 years of experience in nonprofit and retail management to improve the effectiveness of organizations so that they can better achieve their mission. Her background includes recruitment, training, employee relations, writing personnel manuals, developing performance evaluation procedures, benefit administration, and risk assessment.

She has trained management, staff, board members, and volunteers in the areas of human resources, organizational development and strategic planning. Most recently, she has served as the Managing Director for the Forum For Equality, a statewide civil rights organization dedicated to the establishment of a society free from discrimination and to the support of good government in Louisiana.
